The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services has learned that that criminals across the country are targeting SNAP and cash assistance recipients by stealing benefit card information through a scheme known as skimming. Skimming is where criminals attach a device to a legitimate card reader to collect credit card information. We are recommending you immediately—and regularly—change your PIN by going to your SNAP or cash assistance benefits page, or by calling 1-866-386-3071 for SNAP and 1-866-320-8822 for cash cards. Follow the prompts to change your PIN.
