Athens, OH, October 3 – Athens County Department of Job and Family Services is currently experiencing technical difficulties with reapplication/redetermination appointment notifications.   

Appointment notification letters mailed to Athens County Department of Job and Family Services clients beginning mid-September did not include a correct contact telephone number for the reapplication/redetermination appointment scheduling.  Clients receiving a notification should contact Athens County Department of Job and Family Services at 1-844-640-6446 to schedule their appointment.   

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Operations and Communications Department is aware of the system difficulties and is working diligently to resolve the issue.   An estimated date of resolve is yet to be announced.
